The best time to visit Lisbon
Though summer (June to August) offers the best weather with the lowest rainfall and highest temperatures, to beat the crowds and enjoy lower prices, we recommend visiting in the shoulder seasons. The shoulder seasons run from March to May and September to October.
If you’re travelling on a budget, winter (November to February) sees the lowest prices and the weather in Lisbon is milder than other parts of Europe at this time of year. This is also a great time to visit iconic sites and museums without the crowds.
How far in advance should you book flights to Lisbon?
We recommend booking flights to Lisbon at least 2 months in advance to secure the best prices. However, if you plan to travel during the summer months at peak season, make sure to book at least 3 months in advance.
